6 Months ago:Mommy walks in the door after a long day of work and is greeted by an eager 18 month old who wants nothing but to be kissed and hugged by her "perfect" mommy.

Mommy walks in the door after a long day of work.
Kayla: a beads, a beads (pointing to my necklace)
Mom: Oh, Kayla come give mommy hugs. I missed you!
Kayla: (now with a furrowed brow) a BEADS a BEADS
Mom: Can you say please, Kayla
Kayla: Pease ma ma
Mom: Okay, here are the beads, now can Mommy have a hug?
Kayla: (looking at me a little side ways) ah poop ma ma, ah poop
Mom: (Goes in for the swoop to sniff and then change)
Kayla: (runs away, laughing hysterically repeating "pooooop" "ha ha")
Now, my question is, what happened in that short period of time. Out came a sassy comedian without me even noticing!

Don't you just love kids... you make me laugh in your posts because they are all so real and I can relate to all of the things you talk about! Kayla is turning into a big girl now, the sass and attitude only gets better =)
Oh the torture! the pain! I want to kiss those little lips and neck while she squirms away from her annoying aunt Sarah. ahhhhhhhhhh I miss her.
That is the Dunnigan in her! Gotta Love it!
