So, you want an update on the little Kayla Boo?
Well..... two days ago we got a loud knock on our bedroom door in the morning. When we opened it, there was Kayla. We were confused and asked the other household members if they had taken her out. No one had.
Hypothesis: Kayla can now climb out of her crib.
Kayla is growing fast and it seems like every week she can reach something that was too high before.
About a week ago she said her first prayer. I had to help her but SHE said it! We were exited.
Kayla's favorite movie is Mamma Mia (she doesn't understand the innuendos yet so its okay.) Sometimes we watch it together and just skip to all the songs. We dance and dance. She loves spinning, jumping, running, and swaying. She is the perfect little partner for me to lose the extra holiday squeeze. Sometimes, we just run back and forth across the family room as fast as we can. She laughs and squeals the whole time.
When I leave for work, I hold her to give her hugs and kisses. She then turns to everyone else and says loudly "BYE BYE," she is still trying to get me to take her to work with me, don't I only wish!
When she goes down for a nap and for bed at night, she has to have a book to read to her stuffed elephant and baby doll. She has done that since she was 11 months and still loves it!
Honestly, what more could I ever ask for?
