This evening, only one year ago I was still soaking it all in. I was a mother of twins, something I would have never dreamed in a million years. I seemed to have happened upon a very chaotic, loud, fun, exciting life. I could never have fathomed the way that a person can truly love their children equally until I became a mother of 3. Some days my awesome husband and I are so tired, bedtime routine pathetically takes the last ounce of our energy just to do the bare minimum. Yet after the kids are all in bed and we plop on the couch out of sheer exhaustion, we sit and laugh about how cute the kids were that day or the new things the boys learned, or all of their different personalities. A few days ago, the boys got up from their nap so I went in. Brody has removed his clean dry diaper and took it upon himself to poop all over his crib, sheets, and have it covering the lower half of his body. He smiled and jumped up and down. Such great moments.
But alas, I wish I could write more on this special day about these special birthday boys but my eyelids are heavy and I keep nodding off (it was a busy day at work).
More to come after their little party tomorrow!
