I recently started working part time at the job I had prior to Kayla's birth. At first I was worried she would stop functioning normally or be mad at me for leaving her but she is still as happy as ever! I think the time that Sean has to stay with her while I go to work is priceless. I came home from work the other morning to find Kayla laughing hysterically while Sean held her above his head, making rocket ship sounds. She is in love and Sean definitely has a second love of his life!!

Lately I have been pondering on the moments we have at hand. While Sean is in school and working full time and with me working part time, we are as poor as they come! We live with a prayer that we can make it to the next time we get paid (a tough thing to admit) :) However, we have recently come to the true realization that there will one day come a time when we are older and (hopefully) are comfortable with money. At these moments we will look sweetly upon this time in our lives. The smell of an infant or the magical sound of those baby giggles. The way they sleep so peacefully in your arms. Nothing else can compare to this sort of beauty. We are soaking up each day as we stumble through our hectick life, knowing that we have a gift that is greater than any amount of money could ever buy.

My nose just tingled with the beginning of emotions that always surface when you write things like that. I agree wholeheartedly. I love Kayla, you, Sean, and life itself. It can't get much better (other than a bit more cash).
That was very well written, Hannah! You are right, life is very precious, and we should treasure the moments. You should be a writer! I would like to learn more about your new job sometime.
I certainly love looking at those long eye lashes and bright blue eyes (when Kayla is awake). She is so beautiful. I count my blessings daily, and love Sean, Hannah and Kitseeboo!!
