Home

When I think of "home" an array of thoughts come to my mind.
This past week and a half, Sean, Kayla and I packed up and took a road trip to the North Coast of California to visit my parents and younger siblings.

Many times I have tried to explain the place in which I was raised. Over and over again I find myself stumped with how to explain it. It's liberal yet full of agriculture, it's small, yet not too small, it's secluded, yet many come to enjoy the beauty of the redwoods and ocean. There is a place there, known as the "plaza" where there is always a plethora of barefoot hippies sitting in the grass, tokin' a jay and playin' some music.

To me, home is a place where memories are kept. Visiting all the places I used to go is like bringing back my childhood. I hope this place never changes. I hope that when I return each time I will continue to soak in the nostalgia that it holds in such abundance.

P.S. Here is a picture of Kayla holding the neighbor's little puppy. She loved him and help him like a little baby, it was so cute!!
