All in 24 Hours

Going on a road trip with three married sisters, no kids (except one tiny baby) to see your other married sister in Rexburg, ID is the chance of a lifetime. I mean really, what other time do you sit together in a car for 3 and a half hours and just immerse yourselves in enlightening conversation? How often do you laugh and cry together for an extended period of time? How often do you go thrift shopping at DI with 4 sisters for over an hour and spend only six bucks leaving completely satisfied with your shopping experience? How about driving around a small town in Idaho looking at yard sales... just for fun? Why is it that you can spend only 24 hours with your sisters and you feel rejuvenated enough to carry out the next year?

My sisters are my medicine. The kind that you need when you are feeling sad, hurt, happy, excited, stressed, anxious or nervous. Yep, they take care of all that.

For a few short hours I forgot I had school. I forgot I had any cares or worries. I felt so deeply grateful for my husband that so bravely took on Kayla by himself so I could have this time that will soon be a sweet memory.

One never to be forgotten.



Woke up at 7:30 to take a walk in the nature park... aka... stinky duck pond park... Loved it though!!

Cousin Laynie came to visit. We had so much fin on our little patch of grass eating corn chips, bean dip and fruit. Love Laynie to death! Such an awesome girl!

Matilda was on the journey with us too.... fits right in..
