A Notable Morning....
7:00 AM- Wake up, feeling optimistic and excited about cycling with my friend, Erica.
7:08 AM- Find my front tire to be flat (just changed the tube yesterday)
7:10 AM-Called my Erica to see if she has a spare tube.... she can't find hers.
7:30 AM-Drive to Walmart to see if they have a tube, they do, but it's too big.
8:13 AM- Arrive at Erica's house, she finds the tube! They day is saved... or so I thought...
8:45 AM- We hit the road.
9:00 AM- A bee hits me in the face and STINGS me right between the eyes! Hurt so bad I almost crashed.
9:30 AM- The throbbing headache from the sting finally goes away.
10:10 AM- At an intersection. I turn right, Erica turns left (the correct way) and I smash in to the side of her, crash hard and get road rash on my arm and leg.
10:11- AM- I notice I bent Erica's wheel so it's unrideable.
10:12 AM-I start to cry because I feel so bad. It was totally my fault.
10:13 AM- I call Sean to come pick us up.
11:00 AM- Home finally. Feel beat and hungry.
After all that, Erica is still my friend and wants to still go cycling with me after the wheel is fixed. That is a true friend! She is awesome.. We still had a great ride and even had fun sitting on the curb talking while we waited for Sean.
