I spend a lot of my study time in the rocking chair in Kayla's room while she plays with her dollhouse. This way, I am physically present.
I wonder what that little world inside her dollhouse is about.
Do people speak kindly to each other?
Is everyone happy?
Do the people in that house have self confidence and know who they are inside?
Are they judgmental or accepting?
In that house, is everyone pretty open minded?
Do they communicate well together?
Does that house contain love and laughter within?

Makes me really think hard about what we teach her.
I hope her world is happy. I hope she knows how beautiful and loved she is.
I hope her world is always filled with love, happiness and laughter.

I recognize that dollhouse! We had the same one...and I recall Miriam loving to play with it.
I think some of our plots were pretty dramatic because we had some duplicate dolls...so there was identity confusion...twin switcheroos...you know :)
But what thought-provoking questions. I am sure Kayla does know how loved she is. If she ever looks at your blog, there is plenty of proof!
