My Little Miracle

8 months ago a miracle happened. Kayla was born (she is only 10 minutes old in this picture). Since then my life has never been the same. Instead of arriving home from work and thinking about how hungry I am I now grab Kayla and make sure she is fed first. Rather than planning out a Saturday full of errands, a movie, and staying up late, I am thinking about Kayla's schedule. Now, when I see a newborn, it is not just another baby but I can now see the miracle in every baby. A baby is a lot if work, I won't lie. No longer are my nights mine, but hers. I have no choice about how much sleep I will get. But who could have even known the happiness that came from bringing a new life in to the world. Every smile, every hug, every time I hold her when she sleeps, I melt in to my realm of bliss. There is nothing like it. Nothing.

I can't believe baby Kayla is already 8 months old! I remember when I first met you hannah, and you were about 9 months pregnant ready to pop. Crazy how time flies! I miss you. And the beautiful baby girl. We need to play.

We'll try this again - I deleted my last comment because I messed it up!

I just helped Jessica Sells/Gabriel with some insurance and she asked me if I was LDS. She said she knew you and I said I'd say hello. So - hello! She said she had lots of church memories from her association with you. She had her two cute little girls with her...

Oh, Hannah, what a beautiful piece of literature. I was immediately transported back to that magical time when my three little girls were 8 mo, 2 and 3. Little precious Hannah, our baby with a pacifier. Thank you for reminding me.
