Thrown in to the deep end...

So I can liken the first month of nursing school busy but not too intense. Suddenly, after walking comfortably along the side of the swimming pool, with little warning, I have been violently thrown in to the deep end and I can barely swim. I try desperately to keep my face out of the water as I feel my arms and legs getting tired. I have a bunch of friends (aka fellow nursing students) that are in there with me. We are all looking at each other while trying to tread water. We continue to encourage one another to stay afloat and not drown, for we know, there HAS to be an end to it sometime.
Yes, I agree this is a little melodramatic but, all I am saying is school is getting a little harder. I guess it's a good thing that treading water is such great exercise.

The following picture is an indication of why I am doing what I'm doing:

I love that you said that 'swimming is good exercise'. Like hard times in life are good for us. Cliche's sound so much better when you say it a different way.
And I want to say I am blown away at your photo skills. You are just as talented as the rest of em Hannah. We'll see if I ever jump on the band-wagon....not likely.
