A Good Example to Me

Saturday we went swimming with a friend and her daughter who is just a little older than Kayla. Kids seem to be innately nurturing in so many ways. The two had a great time helping each other discover the great things about the playground at the pool. They sat next to each other when we got ice-cream. They would randomly hug and smile at each other. The two of them seemed genuinely concerned for the others' feelings and well being.
I believe there is a lot to learn from these two. If we could all be the kind of friend in adulthood that these two are, the world would be a better place. We would not judge each other for how we dress, silly things we say, or what we look like. Makeup would mean very little to us and we would spend most of our friendship in smiles and laughter.
Inspires me to be a better friend and become more like my four year old.
